Terra de Promissio, or “Land of Promise,” is the realization of the Karren family’s dream to build a home and raise their family on a site where they grow world-class grapes. Located near Petaluma, amid postcard-perfect rolling hills, their vineyard has attracted the attention of several esteemed winemakers. Located in the Sonoma Coast Terra de Promissio’s Pinot Noir is heavily influenced by the Pacific Ocean, and the winds that come in from the Petaluma Gap.
This gorgeous wine exudes floral aromas and expressive layers of lush red fruit. The palate is rich, with ripe red cherry notes and flavors of violet, cocoa and coffee. The tastes and textures from the new French oak meld beautifully with the floral and red cherry flavors, and the finish is creamy and long. While there is a lovely subtlety to this Pinot, it leaves a lasting impression.
This vintage produced 452 (9L) cases, 17 barrels.
